Tapaphene Young, DDS
CHP welcomes Dr. Taphaphene Young to the dental team at Great Barrington Family Dental, where she is caring for patients of all ages.
Dr. Young received her doctorate of dental medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, a master’s degree in health science from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, and a bachelor of science degree in psychology/pre-med from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Young unequivocally loves what she does as an oral health advocate. Her passion for dentistry started as an adolescent with her twin sister (also a dentist) in the chair of a skilled orthodontist who was a friend of the family. Dr. Young’s zeal for dentistry extends to caring for patients of all backgrounds the underserved. She resolves to give back to the community at large. and has curated several charitable events to raise oral health awareness for children with cleft lip and/or palate and has raised funds for their surgeries.
Dr. Young is now accepting new patients of all ages at Great Barrington Family Dental.
