Dr. Bermudez received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. Upon graduating, Dr. Bermudez joined a private practice, and in 2005, moved to the Berkshires with her family. She joined CHP in May 2013. Her areas of practice include pediatric dentistry, root canals, crowns and prosthetics. Dr. Bermudez is fluent in Spanish and is committed to providing quality care for all her patients.
Dr. Kana received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Ovidius University of Constanta in Romania. He first practiced general dentistry in a private practice in Damascus, Syria and also in the Syrian military.
Dr. Kana settled in Boston, working in both a private practice and at Boston University’s Dental Health Center. He later worked at the Brockton Neighborhood Health Center, then went on to practice dentistry at DotHouse Health Center in Dorchester, HealthFirst Family Care Center in Fall River and most recently, Community Health Center of Franklin County.
He brings to CHP his fluency in Arabic, Romanian and French.
Dr. Nainal graduated from Maharishi Markandeshwar with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India and earned his MBA in Health Administration from NYIT. He received his DMD from Boston University in 2018. He has experience in general dentistry including restorations, crowns and bridges, removable complete and partials dentures, root canal therapy and periodontal treatment. Dr. Nainal is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi. His passion is improving the overall health of patients by providing quality dental care.
Dr. Wasserman practices dental medicine at CHP North Adams Family Medical and Dental Center. A graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, he earned his undergraduate degree in zoology at the University of Maryland and went on to serve as a general dentist in the U.S. Army, earning an Army Commendation Medal in 1983. That year, he began practicing general dentistry in Pittsfield. He has served as president of the Massachusetts Dental Society, and in leadership roles with the Berkshire District Dental Society. He is the American Dental Association’s First District Representative to the ADA Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention.
Nina graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Moscow, and is a Registered Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts and New York. She has been involved in community dental projects promoting dental health awareness to school aged children for several years. Education is a priority and her goals are to promote, educate and provide outstanding dental care to each patient.
Ms. King is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She received her degree from Hudson Valley Community College and has provided dental hygiene care locally for over twenty years. Ms. King’s has extensive experience in dental assisting and is dedicated to providing outstanding dental care to each patient. Her commitment to care is exemplary.
Kristabel Vargas joined CHP Family Dental Center in 2008. She graduated in 2006 from Tunxis Community College in Connecticut with an A.S. in Dental Hygiene, and has been practicing dental hygiene since then; she is also certified as a Public Health Hygienist. Ms. Vargas is committed to making a positive impact on oral health, and has a particular interest in treating children and educating parents on good oral hygiene.
Terri Wendell has practiced exceptional dental care in Berkshire County for 25 years. She works side by side with doctors Maitland and Nemser in the dental residency program at the Neighborhood Dental Center. A graduate of Hudson Valley Community College with an Associate Degree in Science in Dental Hygiene, Terri is committed to quality care and her patients’ overall health.
